DIY Rainbow Seeds Goodie Bag and Printable
While St. Patrick’s Day isn’t the most popular holiday, it certainly deserves some celebration. And what better way to celebrate than with a sweet treat.
I’ve seen multiple versions of this printable (like here and here) and loved the idea, so I decided to make my own.
Isn’t the idea that Skittles or M&M’s could be rainbow seeds just darling?
What You Need for a Rainbow Seeds Goodie Bag
- Skittles or M&M’s
- Ziploc bags (snack sized works best, but you can also make it work with sandwich bags)
- Stapler
- Rainbow seeds printable (click the link to download from Dropbox)
How to Assemble Rainbow Seeds Bag
To assemble, put Skittles or M&M’s into a snack sized Ziploc bag. (If you don’t have snack sized bags, do like I did and roll the bag from the top down to make it smaller.)
Fold the Rainbow Seeds printable in half the long way.
Put the bag between the two sides of the printable and staple where the bottom of the printable meets the bag.
Confession: We don’t have a stapler, so I taped it with painter’s tape. For those of you normal people who own a stapler, I would definitely recommend stapling instead of taping.
Make these for neighbors or have your kids give them out at school for a sweet St. Patrick’s Day surprise.
